I've worked in this space from almost every angle; as a volunteer, as a freelancer, and in-house as part of a charity's media team.
I've travelled all over the world doing this kind of work. Remote villages in Uganda, bustling barangays in the Philippines, tea fields in Sri Lanka and urban slums in Kenya to name a few.
I started this coaching work because I kept meeting talented, passionate people making films in this space who just needed someone with field experience to sit down with them and help them figure out what to do next.
